Personnel Policy

The Sibley Public Library Board of Trustees adopts the City of Sibley Employment Handbook (adopted August 12, 2019) as its personnel policy with modifications for part-time library employees who are regularly scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. These modifications are listed in the Library Addendum to the City of Sibley Employment Handbook which was adopted on May 5, 2010, amended on September 4, 2012 and adopted by the City Council on January 13, 2014.

Annually (in November of the preceding year), the Director will present the Holidays and Proposed Closed Dates to the Sibley Public Library Board of Trustees for their approval.
